Seeking interns who are interested in hands on production experience at a Manhattan based entertainment production company, PRIME CONTENT. Our internship program offers participants the unique opportunity to explore a wide range of production in both the field and the studio. Interns can expect to gain experience working with cameras, grip equipment, lighting, and post-production, as well as show and episode development, producing, and directing. Responsibilities include assisting Producer, the Production Manager, and Director of Photography on set for some of the most popular internet programs and largest brands in the world. The ideal candidate is someone who is studying video production (or similar) who is already familiar with basic camera and lighting set ups, audio, and post-production who hopes to one day direct or produce.

We are looking for interns who are able to devote a minimum of 3 days per week beginning immediately for a period of 2-3 months. College credit is mandatory. This is an unpaid internship.

Requirements: excellent organizational and problem solving skills, strong interest in production, good verbal and written communications skills. Punctuality, time management and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Interns will be part of small team working in the office and on site for various projects. A well established film production company located in North Hollywood is in the process of hiring production interns 1-2 days a week to work under producers and to help assist several projects currently in production, pre-production, and development. Flexible internship hours/days (any days Sunday – Friday, any time 9am - 7pm).
Tasks and responsibilities may include, but not limited to: office maintenance, data entry, researching, answering phones, craft service shopping, updating IMDB, and assisting with creating call sheets, production books & basic accounting such as organizing petty cash (don\'t worry – if you haven\'t learned how to do these things yet, that\'s the point of this internship! to teach the basic skills of production).

Our clients include Glamour and GQ magazines, the Tribeca Film Festival, Focus Features, Paramount Pictures, Lacoste and many more. Volunteers will work closely with Wise & Company staff to execute a variety of events such as movie premieres, fashion shows and award shows.

At these events tasks will include but are not limited to:

The Gen Art Film Festival is an AMAZING event that will be showcasing and premiering various films each night. One short film and one feature would be showcased each night to give each and every film well-deserved attention and focus.

For the film and entertainment enthusiasts, we are looking for volunteers to help us out during the festival. It is a fantastic opportunity to see the ins and outs of working a film festival and give you the chance to meet emerging film industry professionals, talent and directors.

The festival will take place at the School of Visual Arts on August 8 to August 14, 2012. We would love to have 8-10 volunteers for 5 hours each day. The different jobs available are check-in/greeting, ushers, and production assistants.
