Award-winning documentary production company, Insignia Films, is seeking interns with serious interest in documentary film, history and/or journalism for immediate placement.

Insignia Films is currently producing multiple projects, the majority of which will air on PBS. Responsibilities include: general office coordination; assisting production secretary, associate producer and sometimes director; project research; general production coordination; participation in pre-production planning; assisting on shoot days; working as an apprentice-editor; post-production co-ordination; transcribing interviews.

Steve Jobs Documentary Needs Production Interns

Promised Land Films and Inside Communications are currently in the beginning stages of production and research of a documentary focused on the life and career of Steve Jobs.

The documentary will focus on his business ideas, how Apple and Apple products are changing the way we live our lives, as well as how Steve Jobs was a great communicator and speakers.

We are looking for interns who can hit the ground running to help us in all aspects of production and producing. We will need interns who have strong research skills as well as phone skilss to reach out to sources and potential interviewees.

The beginning stages of this project will focus on doing research on media interviews and speeches that Jobs participated in.

This is a collaborative project so you will have the opportunity to work with our internal staff and present your own ideas.
