Job Description The CBS Internship Program is designed to provide students with exposure to various departments within the television/entertainment industry. The Talent and Casting Internship is a part time for-credit internship and will be 2-3 days a week.



With this in mind, managers are advised to delegate a diversified selection of assignments with an emphasis on projects, rather than clerical tasks. Additionally, the program serves as a way of providing CBS with an array of highly talented and qualified students eager to apply their skills in assisting with special projects.



This is intended to be a developmental experience, and as such, managers provide constructive guidance throughout the program.

Required Skills/Experience

Enrolled in a full-time accredited college or university, and undergraduate students be an incoming junior or senior in the Fall.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Must have excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Shovio Broadcasting is looking for highly motivated, hard working individuals for assistant positions. This is not the typical media internship; it’s an opportunity to be a part of new technology in a radio/TV hybrid.
Position description and responsibilities:
Candidate’s responsibilities include basic audio and video capture and editing, researching show material, and greeting and escorting guests. You must have excellent communication skills to be able to handle both office calls and screening phones for broadcast. In addition, you should be well versed in social networking sites such as My Space, Face Book and Twitter, and be prepared to read, sort and answer e-mail. Experience with graphics and advanced editing would be a plus. These highly demanding positions are unpaid, but will provide invaluable hands-on experience in broadcast media.
