You will have the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals to develop the skills you need to be a successful reporter/producer!

Hollyscoop, a division of Rev New Media, is an online entertainment magazine focusing on Hollywood media, celebrities, fashion, and "Hotspots". We are growing to become one of the hottest entertainment news networks on the web, providing up-to-minute breaking news and exclusive stories directly from the source. Updated around the clock, Hollyscoop brings fresh content to readers from around the world.

Job responsibilities:
Help with identifying and pitching stories, trends and headline news by monitoring a variety of web, social media and print outlets.
Extensive prep for red carpet events, movie premieres and press junkets, including research on relevant
celebrities in attendance and their upcoming projects with a goal of securing unique and exclusive content for and Hollyscoop TV.

Assist Producers and reporters as needed in the office and at on-site events by taking notes during interviews and completing post-shoot interview transcriptions.
Responsible for assisting in digitizing, running tapes and tape organization.

Skills and Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled in college and able to receive credit. Preferred majors include Communications,Media, Film, Radio, Television, Journalisrm, Marketing/PR, etc.
Schedule is flexible, but interns must be available to work 20-25 hours/week and commit to a minimum of 15 weeks.
Preferred work hours are 7:30-3pm.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledgeable on all things pop culture, and a constant pulse on all trends within the world of entertainment
Ability to take initiative and work in a fast and productive manner under tight deadlines
Must live or be able to transfer to the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation to Hollyscoop Offices in
Must own laptop computer and be able to use it for work purposes.
