Documentary Production Intern
Award-winning documentary production company, Insignia Films, is seeking interns with serious interest in documentary film, history and/or journalism for immediate placement.
Insignia Films is currently producing multiple projects, the majority of which will air on PBS. Responsibilities include: general office coordination; assisting production secretary, associate producer and sometimes director; project research; general production coordination; participation in pre-production planning; assisting on shoot days; working as an apprentice-editor; post-production co-ordination; transcribing interviews.
Previous Insignia Films productions include Panama Canal, Roads to Memphis, Emmy-award winning Seabiscuit, Emmy-nominated Reporting America at War, and the landmark series, The West, for PBS.
Prospective interns must be available for at least two days per week for three months. Insignia will offer a $10/day transportation stipend and course credit.
