Music Times, LLC is looking for a Social Media Intern that will be responsible for assistant the Social Media Manager and Marketing team. The Social Media Intern will be exposed to all aspects of the digital and marketing departments. This person will need to be familiar with social media, have a strong work ethic, a professional attitude and a desire to excel within a start-up environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Providing administrative support to Social Media Manager
•Creating and uploading communications and content media channels
•Responding to project demands
•Work with Digital and Marketing teams to drive launches and promotions
•Uploading pictures and graphics to social media sites
•Monitoring daily news reports and assist in scheduling online content
•Work closely with Social Media Manager to brainstorm ideas
•Competitive analysis
•Working closely with Social Media Manager to acquire partnerships and plan contests
•Additional duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Experience working in a Social Media capacity, either in-house or agency
•Excellent communication skills
•Excellent attention to detail
•Willingness to learn by showing enthusiasm and interest in the brand
•An energetic style in a fast-paced environment and an ability to collaborate and work with other team members to achieve results
•Located in either New York, Nashville, or Atlanta
•Excellent writing skills, knowledge of proper grammar and spelling
•Superior social media knowledge with high proficiency in sites such as of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Yelp
•Has worked with Google Gmail or Microsoft Outlook
•Beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
•High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
•Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
•Able to take direction and work in a team environment

Candidates for the Video Internship must have previous editing and video/audio experience. On a daily basis interns will be responsible to maintain overall production calendar with shoots, edits and publish dates; operate Canon EOs 60D camera on shoots for original and distinct news video content, ranging from highly produced to quick turnaround; research and gather elements and assets needed for both highly produced and quick turnaround stories; Assist with publishing of videos on multiple platforms, including YouTube, BrightCove, Hulu, etc; Assist with programming on video platforms and social distribution; assist on shoots as needed i.e camera setup, lights, wrap, note-taking, runs; Occasionally help with editing and work closely with editorial staff to develop video concepts.

Requirements:
•Relevant internship experience
•Solid news judgment with thorough understanding of journalistic standards and values
•Proficient with professional video cameras with a good visual eye?
•Genuine enthusiasm and strong sensibility for visual storytelling?
•Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and familiarity with codecs
•Adept at lighting and sound?
•Knowledge of SEO best practices
•Self-motivated and disciplined with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom

Wise & Company is a special events firm that specializes in planning and executing high-profile events in the entertainment, fashion and media industries. Our clients include Glamour and GQ magazines, the Tribeca Film Festival, Focus Features, Paramount Pictures, Lacoste and many more. We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare for and manage our events during the 2012-2013 school year.

Volunteers will work closely with Wise & Company staff to execute a variety of events such as movie premieres, fashion shows and award shows.

At these events tasks will include but are not limited to:
• Working ticket will-call at a theater
• Helping with guest relations
• Serving as ushers within a theater
• Assisting with event logistics – ticket running, set up, etc.
• Office work – sorting tickets, delivering tickets, etc.

Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate college program in New York City
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional demeanor and dress
• EXTREMELY personable and organized

Events will mainly take place Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights and schedules will be confirmed 1-2 weeks ahead of time. Shifts will generally begin around 5:30 p.m. and will end by 8:30 p.m. For events that run later, volunteer shifts will usually finish by 11 p.m. Shift times will vary by event but occasional day shifts will also be available.

Compensation will vary by event, but could include event tickets or monetary compensation.
