HDFILMS
Production Internship
North Hollywood, CA
A well established film production company located in North Hollywood is in the process of hiring production interns 1-2 days a week to work under producers and to help assist several projects currently in production, pre-production, and development. Flexible internship hours/days (any days Sunday – Friday, any time 9am - 7pm).
Tasks and responsibilities may include, but not limited to: office maintenance, data entry, researching, answering phones, craft service shopping, updating IMDB, and assisting with creating call sheets, production books & basic accounting such as organizing petty cash (don\'t worry – if you haven\'t learned how to do these things yet, that\'s the point of this internship! to teach the basic skills of production).
This is great position for someone who is interested in learning how to produce/manage productions but is having a difficult time finding the connections/ learning the basics to get hired as an Office Production Assistant.
This is an unpaid internship, but within a fast growing production company, so there is always the opportunity for part-time hire down the road (in addition to the occasional paid set PA gigs!). Please note: we will buy your working meals, give you IMDB credit, gas reimbursements (if you do have to run the occasional errand or two), and teach you the basic skills of film production.
Requirements: excellent communication and organizational skills, a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle, in addition to a solid working knowledge of the following: Mac & PC Computers, MS Office and Excel (added bonus if you have working knowledge of any of the following software: final cut, adobe premiere, power point, final draft, keynote, EP Budgeting/Scheduling or Gorilla Budgeting/Scheduling).
Please send resume and cover letter specifying the day(s)/times you are available to intern.
College credit is offered.
